Redmi 10 Prime launches in India

Xiaomi has launched its latest model – Redmi 10 Prime – in India. The latest device has been launched as an upgrade to the current Redmi 9 Prime smartphone. It has a hole-punch display design, MediaTek equipped with helio G88 processor, and an upgraded quad rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera. As for the pricing, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone is priced at Rs 12,499. The 6 GB + 128 GB storage model of the phone is priced at Rs 14,499. It will be on sale on Amazon, Mi Stores, Mi.Com, Mi Studios, and major retailers.

WhatsApp to launch a major feature for users soon

WhatsApp keeps on introducing new features from time to time to keep its users happy. Now, the instant messaging platform is going to bring another new major feature that will be available for the web version of the app. The Facebook-owned app will basically change the way you react on the application with your friends and family. Similar to Instagram and Facebook messenger, WhatsApp is working on this feature which will later become the fun quotient for users. It will be available for users both owning an iOS and an Android smartphone.

Xiaomi overtakes Apple to become the world’s top wearable maker

According to a report by market analysis firm Canalys, Xiaomi overtook Apple to become the top-shipping wearable maker vendor in the second half of the year. As per the report, it shipped eight million wearable bands in Q2 with a market share of 19.6 percent. Apple came in the second with a shipment of 7.9 million, a year-on-year growth of 29.4 percent. Huawei hung on to third place, mostly relying on China to stay afloat. It shipped 3.7 million wearable bands, a decrease of 53.9 percent year on year. The report also said that wristwatch shipments overtook those of basic bands for the first time in the fourth quarter of 2020, and this trend has continued since then.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Price increased by Rs 1,000

Samsung has increased the price of the Galaxy A52 in India by Rs 1,000. The smartphone was launched this year with a 90Hz display, an IP67-certified build, and quad rear cameras. It comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and has up to 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy A-series was launched alongside the Galaxy A72, though the latter has not received a price hike. Samsung Galaxy A52’s 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is currently available at Rs 27,499 and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant can be purchased at Rs 28,999. To recall, the 6GB RAM variant was launched in the country at Rs 26,499 and the 8GB RAM variant was launched at Rs 27,999.

Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake-S Desktop CPUs launch date revealed

Intel recently showcased the technology underneath the forthcoming 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs which combines a mixture of high-performance and energy-efficient cores to offer both performance and energy efficiency. It is now said that the company is also expected to launch Z690 motherboards for the same CPUs. According to a report, Intel’s next CPUs are predicted to have higher IPC and greater single-core and multi-core performance. It is expected to release the 12th Gen Alder Lake-S desktop CPUs, as well as the Z960 motherboards, on November 19.
