Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G now available for online sale

Oppo recently unveiled the Reno 6 Pro mobile phone in the Indian market. It is now finally set to go on sale in the country. The Chinese phone brand has announced that the handset will be made available for purchase starting July 20 at midnight. It will be available for online sale via Flipkart and official website. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 39,990 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. You get Stellar Black and Aurora color options on the smartphone.

WhatsApp rolls out joinable group call feature

The popular instant messaging app WhatsApp rolled out a new feature that will make easier for users to join calls. The new Joinable group call feature will let users join a group call minutes after it started. You can also leave the call midway and then rejoin a couple of minutes later. “We’ve also created a call info screen so you can see who is already on the call, and who has been invited but not yet joined. If you hit ‘ignore’ you can join later from the calls tab in WhatsApp,” the company said in a statement.

Nvidia RTX 30-series GPUs go on sale at Best Buy bricks-and-mortar stores

Best Buy has announced that it will begin selling Nvidia’s RTX 30-series graphics cards in limited quantities at its physical brick and mortar stores across the country. It will use a ‘first-come first-served’ ticket system to determine which lucky customers can purchase a new graphics card. To buy the graphic cards, you need to be at one of Best Buy’s store locations by 7:30 AM local time.

Samsung launches a 1000-inch MicroLED TV

Samsung on Monday announced an updated version of “The Wall”, the company’s modular MicroLED display lineup. It measures in at over 1000-inch with improved AI, an 8K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and better image quality. The display can also be configured horizontally with double the resolution (16K). Samsung says the new model comes with new wireless docking connections and a bezel-less design, which results in easier installation.

Google rolls security update for chrome

Google is rolling out a new update with security fixes for Chrome web browser. The update also includes a fix of the zero-day exploit (a security flaw that is (mis)used by hackers without the company’s knowledge) in its V8 JavaScript engine. The company says that the Stable channel has been updated to 91.0.4472.164 for Mac, Windows and Linux which will roll out over the coming days/weeks.
