Nothing Ear 1 wireless earbuds launched in India

Nothing has unveiled its first product, Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds, in India. The earbuds, which features an iconic new design, excellent battery life and active noise cancellation among others, will be available in the country for Rs 5,999 on Flipkart from August 17 at 12 pm, alongside 45 markets including the US and UK. Additionally, the earbuds come with a mobile app for Android and iOS that lets users customise various settings on the device.

Poco X3 GT smartphone launched globally

Poco X3 GT has been launched globally as an upgraded version of the standard Poco X3 from September last year. The smartphone offers two RAM and storage configurations as well as three color options – Black, White, and Green. Key specs of this new device include a 6.6-inch 120Hz display, a 5000mAh battery capacity and MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. Coming to the price, you can get Poco X3 GT in USD 200 (approx. Rs 22,200) for the base 8GB + 128GB model. The phone will be available in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.

Mozilla VPN unveils major security boost

Mozilla VPN users will now be able to select which apps they want to use the company’s VPN service as Mozilla has unveiled a new split tunneling feature. It allows users to split Internet traffic and encrypted VPN tunnel and which one connects to the open network. Split tunneling is now available on Mozilla VPN on both Android and iOS. When enabled, people can prioritize how each app connects to the Internet when VPN is turned on.

Instagram Reels now support 60-second videos

Social media platform Instagram is now letting users create considerable longer videos. Users can now upload 60-second longer videos on Reel, which is double the previous limit of 30-second. This aim, aimed at rival TikTok and others is a calculated one. Also, this update adds functionality for a caption sticker on Reels that transcribes audio to text. Currently, the caption sticker is only available in a handful of English-speaking countries, but the platform says they plan to expand to additional languages and countries soon.

Oppo Reno 6 4G with Snapdragon 720G SoC launched

Oppo Reno 6 4G specifications and price have been revealed as the smartphone is officially launched in Indonesia. The new device looks similar to its Reno 6 Pro 5G sibling with quad rear cameras at the back and a hole-punch display. It now gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC instead of MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset on the 5G model. The Oppo Reno 6 4G price in Indonesia is IDR 5,199,000 (approx Rs 26,700) and will be available in Stellar Black and Aurora color options.
