Mi Smart Band 6 Goes on Sale in India

Mi Smart Band 6 is now available for sale in India via Mi.com and Amazon. The wearable was launched in the country last week at the company’s Smarter Living event. The smart band comes with features like a full-screen color AMOLED display, Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) tracking, and 30 sports modes. The new fitness band claims to offer 14 days of battery life and supports Personal Activity Index (PAI) as well. Mi Smart Band 6 is compatible with both iOS and Android and is priced at Rs 3,499.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series, Galaxy Buds 2 available for pre-bookings

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series and Galaxy Buds 2 are now available for pre-bookings in India. These devices were launched by the company at its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month. Consumers pre-booking Galaxy Watch 4 Series will be eligible for an e-voucher worth Rs 6,000. On pre-booking Galaxy Buds 2, consumers will be eligible for an e-voucher worth Rs 3,000. There is also exciting cashback offers worth Rs 3,000 on pre-booking Galaxy Watch 4 Series and Rs 1,200 on pre-booking Galaxy Buds 2 across all leading banks.

Microsoft Edge to get a new scrollbar on Windows 10/11

Ahead of Windows 11’s October 2021 release, Microsoft has been trying to deal with the design consistency points. As part of the visual revamp, Microsoft is testing Windows 11-inspired look for several core apps, such as Microsoft Teams, Chromium-based Edge, MS Paint, Snipping Tool, and more. Microsoft is now planning to modify to a brand new scrollbar design referred to as “overlay scrollbars”. The new scroll bar of the latest Edge Canary adopts a more sleek design, which is the same as that used in Win11 system applications. This new design will match the feel and appearance of Home windows 11 apps, corresponding to File Explorer and Settings.

American Express ends support for Samsung Pay in India

American Express announced that it will end Samsung Pay support in India. They have emailed its customers that Samsung Pay will no longer be available on its cards from October 1, 2021. Samsung Pay users with an AMEX card will be able to continue using it until September 30, 2021, making American Express the first bank to end support for Samsung Pay in India. The bank has not explained why it is taking this step.

Jiophone Next to launch on September 10

Jio will unveil its smartphone – Jiophone Next – in partnership with Google on September 10. As per the report, ahead of its launch, the company has started preparations for pre-bookings of the Jio-Google smartphone. The report said that Jio has initiated talks with retail partners regarding the pre-bookings of JioPhone Next and more information will be shared with them in the coming days. The latest device is expected to be available at Rs 3,499.
