Infinix 5A will arrive in India on August 2

Infinix is planning to launch a new budget mobile phone in India in the form of Infinix 5A. The company has reportedly partnered with Reliance Jio to launch its upcoming budget mobile phone in India. The Infinix 5A will arrive in India on August 2 and will be available for purchase in the country via Flipkart. According to reports, the price of the upcoming Infinix 5A smartphone will be less than Rs 7,000. MySmartPrice reports that the Infinix Smart 5A will come with a Reliance Jio offer wherein if users sign up to use Jio in the primary slot of the phone, they will get a discount of Rs 550.

Micromax IN 2B launched in India

The Micromax IN 2B, a successor to the Micromax IN 1B that was launched last year, debuted in the Indian market. It comes with features like a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop-style notch display and is powered by the Unisoc T610 SoC. The smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 5,000mAh battery. The mobile phone will be available in Blue, Black, and Green colour options. Micromax IN 2B price in India is Rs 7,999 for the 4GB+64GB version and Rs 8,999 for the 6GB+64GB model. It will be on sale via Flipkart and Micromax websites.

Huawei launches its largest ever smart TV

Huawei launched its latest 98-inch Smart Screen TV in China. Priced at CNY 29,999 (approx Rs. 3.45 lakh), this is the largest smart TV of the company to date. As for the key highlights, it sports a large 98-inch 4K display that comes with anti-glare technology. The Smart Screen V98 has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and comes with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Other features of this Huawei Smart Screen TV include stereo speakers, a 24MP AI webcam and HarmonyOS 2 support.

Telegram increases its group video call capacity to 1,000 viewers

Messaging App Telegram, in its latest updates, will be expanding group video calls viewers up to 1,000. The platform launched group video calls feature last month. The maximum number of participants will remain at 30. The messaging app said that the users now can have quit the audience now for “anything from online lectures to live rap battle.” Also, video messages on Telegram will now have higher resolution as users will be able to tap them for a larger view of the clip.

Twitter launches bug bounty contest for detecting algorithm bias

Micro-blogging site Twitter has announced a bug bounty contest with a difference. This time around, Twitter will reward those who find as-yet undiscovered examples of bias in its image-cropping algorithm. Twitter, in a blog post, said that finding bias in machine learning is difficult. Companies, sometimes, end up finding out about unintended ethical harms once they’ve arrived reached the public. The social media platform said that it wants to change this with a contest.
