Amazon Alexa gets Amitabh Bachchan’s voice in India

Amazon has rolled out India’s first celebrity voice on Alexa with the country’s biggest megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The feature will allow users to ask for set alarms, music and even get weather updates in Big B’s signature style. Amazon has made Bachchan’s voice available on Alexa at an introductory price of Rs 149 (MRP Rs 299) for one year. Users just need to say “Alexa, introduce me to Amitabh Bachchan” to purchase the celebrity voice. You’ll be able to start interacting with the actor’s voice once the payment is done.

OnePlus 9RT may launch in October in India

According to a new report, OnePlus may unveil the OnePlus 9 RT in “select market”, including India in the month of October. This will be the only phone in the numbered flagship series and come as an upgrade to OnePlus 9R. As per the reports, OnePlus 9 RT may see improvements in the camera department as it may come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766, same as the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord 2, as its primary sensor.

Google is shutting ‘Android Auto for Phone Screens’ with Android 12

To get things done while driving, Google launched ‘Android Auto’ on smartphones. However, its version on phone screens was meant to shut down at the time and has been on life support ever since. Now, the version has stopped working for some users. The company has now confirmed that the feature will no longer work once Android 12 is out. Android Auto on phone screens has not really been updated in a while and was mostly kept as a legacy experience intended for users who were used to the interface.

Xiaomi mocks Realme for copying its brand initiative

Xiaomi and Realme Twitter wars are back. Recently, Xiaomi took a step ahead and decided to call Realme out on things they think it’s copying from them. Sneha Tainwala, Director at Redmi Business, in a tweet, mentioned how Realme has copied Xiaomi’s Mi Fan Festival idea and has launched their own Realme Fan Festival followed by the Reame Entrepreneurship Program.
