Tecno Spark 8C launched in India

Tecno has launched the Spark 8C in India. The smartphone is said to be successor to the Tecno Spark 8 smartphone that was launched in India is September last year. The company claims that the Tecno Spark 8C is the most affordable smartphone in India with 6GB RAM. It comes in four different color variants and has a 90hz refresh rate display. The device is further backed by a 5,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11 with HiOS on top. The Tecno Spark 8C is priced at Rs 7,499 and will go on sale in India in February 24 via Amazon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series launched in India

Samsung has launched all three of its variants of the Galaxy Tab S8 – Tab S8 Ultra, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 in India. It will be available for pre-order between February 22 and March 10, 2022 on Samsung.com and all other leading Samsung authorised partners. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Tab S8 series will get a free Keyboard Cover worth up to Rs 22,999. Additionally, they can also avail cashback of Rs 10,000 on purchase of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Rs 8,000 on purchase of Galaxy Tab S8+ and Rs 7,000 on purchase of Galaxy Tab S8 using HDFC Bank cards.

The new 9 Pro Plus is also Realme’s latest bet on mobile photography, giving high-end camera users features such as a Sony flagship camera. Realme used a big 6.4-inch display on the 9 Pro Plus and comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. The Realme 9 Pro Plus comes in three variants starting at Rs 24,999.

YouTube adds TikTok-style live rings to show when someone is streaming

YouTube is adding a new indicator to show when a channel is live streaming on the platform. The feature would make it easier to find live content. The new update will display a ring with the word ‘Live’ on it around a channel’s profile picture when they are live streaming. Currently, TikTok uses a pulsing ring effect on a channel’s profile picture to alert the user that it is live. Meanwhile, YouTube TV is finally getting support for picture-in-picture (PiP) on iPhone and iPad.
