Nokia G21 tipped to launch in India in February

HMD Global is reportedly gearing up to unveil its latest budget-range device – the Nokia G21 – in India. As per the latest leak, the handset will make its debut in February in the country. The leak also suggests key specifications of the smartphone. Nokia G21 is said to feature a triple rear camera unit, including a 50-megapixel main sensor. It is tipped to pack a 5,050mAh battery with quick charging support. The official pricing of the Nokia G21 will be announced at the time of its launch next month.

Boat Watch Matrix launched in India

Boat unveils its next-generation premium-designed smartwatch ‘Matrix’. It is the brand’s first smartwatch with a stunning Always on High-Definition AMOLED screen. This technology allows for life-like colours and an Always-on display. Matrix’s display not only performs exceptionally but is also very good looking which can be credited to its 2.5D curved design. Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G launched in India

Xiaomi launched another flagship device in India, the Xiaomi 11T Pro. Xiaomi is advertising the smartphone “Hyperphone”. It comes with features including a 120Hz AMOLED display and 120W fast charging. The smartphone is also powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is available in Celestial Magic, Meteorite Gray, and Moonlight White colours and is up for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studios, and other offline retailers. The price of Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G in India starts at Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant.

Apple led Smartphone Shipments in Q4 2021

According to a report by market analyst firm Canalasy, Apple was the most popular smartphone manufacturer in terms of global smartphone shipments for Q4 2021. The Cupertino-based tech giant took the first spot from competitor Samsung, and accounted for 22% of global smartphone sales in the last quarter despite supply chain issues, and rising coronavirus cases around the world. Meanwhile, Chinese smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo were in third, fourth and fifth places, with 12%, 9% and 8% market share, respectively.
