Realme to enter high-end smartphone market

Smartphone brand Realme is all set to enter into the high-end smartphone market. The founder and CEO Sky Li has revealed the company’s plan to compete with top smartphone brands in the ultra-premium segment through a tweet. He didn’t reveal any details regarding the launch timeline of first smartphone of Realme priced over USD 800 (roughly Rs 59,500). However, we can expect some details early next year. The CEO also did not confirm the naming scheme of the ultra-premium category.

Vivo Y15A launched

Vivo has launched its most awaited budget smartphone – the Vivo Y15A – in the Philippines market. Talking about the specifications, the handset comes with highlighted features like MediaTek display, waterdrop notch, 5,000mAh battery, dual-rear camera setup among others. The Vivo Y 15A seems to arrive with similar specifications to the Vivo Y15s (2021). The newly launched phone comes with a price tag of PHP 7,999 (approx USD 160) in the Philippines market. It will be available for grabs in colors like Mystic Blue and Water Green.

New State crosses 1 crore downloads on Play Store

Krafton’s latest battle royale game – New State – recently launched in a number of countries including India. Over the weekend, the game has now crossed over 1 crore installs, in just three days since its launch. Prior to its release, the game had already garnered a whopping 40 million pre registrations on both Apple App and Google Play Store. Developed by PUBG Studios, PUBG: New State is a free-to-play next-generation mobile game playable in 17 different languages.

Amazon Echo speakers get motion detection capabilities

Amazon has added a new feature for its newer Echo and Echo Dot speakers. The feature will now be able to detect the presence of people in a room by emitting an inaudible ultrasound wave. This technology will help these smart speakers to turn off lights and other connected devices when one leaves a room or turn them on when one enters into a room. The capability of Amazon Echo to detect people was first talked about in Amazon’s hardware event conducted in September this year.
