Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Turbo 5G smartphone after many weeks of confirming the launch. The Chinese OEM had revealed almost every specification before the launch through teasers. It is the first smartphone in the world to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. The smartphone is said to launch in global markets under different branding. It is tipped to launch in India as Poco F5 5G on April 6, 2023. However, Poco hasn't officially revealed the launch date of the upcoming Poco F5 5G smartphone. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone has officially been launched in China. It is a new addition to the already existing Redmi Note 12 series, and the first smartphone ever to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC ticking at its core. The all-new Redmi Note 12 Turbo boasts a similar design as its elder siblin Android 13 OS, with a boxy panel, flat edges and a rectangular module to house triple camera sensors. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,400 x1,080 pixels resolution, adaptive HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1920Hz PWM, 1000nits brightness, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and flat edges. Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition is said to come with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
