Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is prepping to unveil the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r in India alongside the OnePlus Nord 3. However, the company is yet to share an official announcement regarding that. Before that, a new report by MSP has revealed the design of the upcoming OnePlus earbuds. It is said that the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r might come with a similar design to the recently released OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r for the Indian market. These upcoming wireless earbuds are expected to launch in India alongside the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone. Ahead of the official launch, recently the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r was spotted at Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. The certification revealed that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will have a model number E510A. Now, in a recent development, we at Industry Sources have received the retail box image of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r which reveals the design of the upcoming TWS earbuds. Let us look at the newly available information about the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r. OnePlus Nord Buds 2r design Like the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will feature small silicone earplugs and microphones on the top, as per the leaked retail box. The appearance of these earbuds will be a little bit like that of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. It is unknown when the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will be released in India, but a recent report hinted that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r might launch very soon as they were spotted on the company’s India website. OnePlus Nord Buds 2r features (expected) The company has not yet revealed any features regarding the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r, but according to the report, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r is expected to have similar touch controls to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. In terms of price, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will be a cheaper alternative to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Similar to the Nord Buds 2, we also can expect the Nord Buds 2r to offer touch interaction for calls and music playback controls. The other key specifications of the Nord Buds 2r remain unknown currently. In a piece of related news, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r was spotted on the OnePlus India website by tipster Mukul Sharma. The listing however did not reveal any specifications of the Nord Buds 2r. The upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r could debut as the cheaper variant of the previously announced OnePlus Nord Buds 2. As of now, the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 2r as well as the OnePlus Nord 3 is yet to be revealed by OnePlus for the Indian market. To recall, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 from OnePlus comes with a 12.4mm Titanium driver and they offer Bluetooth v5.3 support. These in-ear TWS earbuds have interchanging ear tips, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and OnePlus Fast Pair support. Ans) The tipster did not reveal the launch date of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R. However, he mentioned that he had spotted the wireless earbuds on the OnePlus Indian website. As per Sharma, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R may launch soon in India, along with the OnePlus Nord 3, which is expected to launch soon in the country. The company is yet to come up with an official confirmation on the date regarding the same. As of now, OnePlus has not yet revealed anything about the upcoming product. 3) OnePlus Nord Buds 2R launching soon, spotted on SIRIM. Details? Ans) According to industry sources serial production of the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2R has begun, and the TWS might launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 3. Both products are said to launch soon in India. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R (with the model number OnePlus E510A) have also been spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which has confirmed their moniker and have also suggested that the launch must be nearing. For those unaware, SIRIM is a regulatory body in Malaysia, which certifies various electronic products. The SIRIM listing of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R means that the TWS have received the regulatory approval in the country. For now, the specifications and features of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R are unknown, but we expect them to be a toned-down variant of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.In all likelihood, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R will launch in India (and possibly in the global market) sometime in June, as the OnePlus Nord 3 is also rumoured to launch during the same time. 4) What are OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Specifications ? Ans) The TWS will offer an in-ear design and will have a 41mAh battery. The case, on the other hand, will pack in a 480mAh battery and will have a USB Type-C charging port. As far as the charging speeds are concerned, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will offer up to 4.5W charging. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The case will measure 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm. The FCC certification schematics also reveal the model number of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 once again, and the same model number has also been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. If the brand’s previous trends are anything to go by, we can expect the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 to be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Buds Ace, which launched a little while ago in China, alongside the OnePlus Ace 2.
