According to a report by The Economic Times, PSAV Global, led by CP Khandelwal, has partnered with Madhav Sheth’s HTech to produce Honor smartphones in India. Production is expected to begin by March 2026 (Q1 2026) under the government’s ‘Made in India’ initiative. The companies are reportedly targeting 1% of India’s overall smartphone market with a revenue projection of nearly ₹2,500 crore. Once production kicks off, Honor’s product launches in India are expected to align more closely with their global release timelines. Globally, Honor has been experiencing significant growth, becoming one of the fastest-rising brands in the industry. However, in India, its re-entry in 2023 (after exiting in 2021) has not yet generated the momentum the company anticipated.
