Now, thanks to AI, Google Wallet can turn almost any document into a digital pass. This new feature, called the “Everything else” option, is now rolling out via the Google Wallet app. Announced in May and showing up a few weeks ago, it's currently available to some users, especially those with Pixel devices. It is important to note that the new feature doesn't seem to be available on Samsung devices yet. When creating a pass, you can change its type and use an "other" category if it doesn't fit any preset options. The details you can add will vary depending on the category you choose. Launch the application on your device Open Google Wallet: Launch the application on your device. Add to Wallet: Tap the “Add to Wallet” button. Tap the “Add to Wallet” button. Select “Everything Else”: Scroll down and choose the “Everything Else” option. Create a pass with the help of AI Agree to terms: On the next page, Google flashes a disclaimer under the hood “Create a pass with the help of AI”. Click on Agree to move forward. Capture Document: Use your camera to scan the document. AI will detect and analyze the information. Add document details on the next page Add Document Details: Add document details on the next page and Select document type from the list of documents provided. Done: Once done, your document will be available to you as a Digital Pass in the Google Wallet.
