Samsung launched its new Galaxy S25 lineup featuring the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip at the recent Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in San Jose California. The Korean tech company also teased a bunch of other upcoming tech including its first extended reality (XR) headset code-named ‘Project Moohan.’
This marks Samsung’s foray into the XR and wearable device market signalling its ambition to transform how users interact with both physical and digital spaces.

Beyond the XR headset, Samsung also hinted at its plans for AI-powered smart glasses. These glasses may feature the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip and Google’s Gemini platform enabling vision-based and voice-controlled interactions.
Samsung CEO TM Roh stated the company aims to bring smart glasses to market as soon as possible reinforcing its commitment to leading the next wave of wearable technology.
