Samsung rolling out the new security update for these galaxy models

After a splendid start of 2022, filled with the latest launches and events, Samsung has started rolling out its security updates for February 2022. The updates are available for the selected Galaxy series dated 28 January. Here’s listed the devices that have been updated so far.

Samsung Security update Feb 2022 – What’s New?

While the news has already spread out for the new security patch, The Korean Tech Giants haven’t disclosed the issues they’ve fixed with the coming update. Nonetheless, we do expect some amazing information about the security patch very soon. Though they provide details for every fix very regularly, the 2022 February security patch is still a mystery to guess.

Smartphones with the new 2022 February update

The renowned Galaxy Note 20 series is the first one to get the latest security update. Samsung released the new security update to the LTE and 5G variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

All the LTE variants of Galaxy S20 including, the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra, will get the update with firmware version G98xFXXUDEVA9 across Europe. Furthermore, the 5G variants will get the firmware version G98xBXXUDEVA9 for the update and are currently available in the UK. We expect the update to reach more markets within the next couple of weeks.

Other devices to come with the February 2022 security patch includes the Galaxy A series. The A-series is one great option for those running on a tight budget. Furthermore, as of 31 January, the only Samsung Galaxy A-series device to get the February latest security update is the A50s. It will get the update with the firmware version A507FNXXU6DVA2 (Released first in Vietnam).
