Samsung has unveiled its latest foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 – in India.
These devices bring incremental upgrades over their predecessors, focusing on improved performance, AI capabilities, and enhanced user experience.
Both models are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and feature Samsung’s Galaxy AI technology.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be available for pre-order starting July 10, with sales beginning on July 24.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is priced at Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, Rs 1,76,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant, and Rs 2,00,999 for the 12GB+1TB variant in Silver Shadow color.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at Rs 109,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and Rs 1,21,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant.
Both models come in various color options including Silver Shadow, Navy, Pink for the Fold, and Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow for the Flip.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 boasts a 7.6-inch main display and a 6.3-inch cover display, both offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness.
The device features an upgraded Armor Aluminum 2 frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, enhancing its durability.
Camera capabilities include a versatile triple-camera setup on the rear, a 10MP front camera, and a 4MP under-display camera.
The device runs on One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 and comes with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.
Samsung has introduced Galaxy AI features to the Fold 6, including ‘Note Assist’ for AI-powered translation, summaries, and auto-formatting of notes.
Another notable AI feature is ‘Sketch to Image’, which generates image options based on user sketches or drawings on photos.
The Fold 6 also features an improved cooling system with a larger vapor chamber.
It’s lighter than its predecessor, weighing 239g compared to the 253g of the Fold 5. The device supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a 6.7-inch main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.4-inch cover display.
The device has seen a significant camera upgrade, with the main sensor now boasting 50MP, up from 12MP in the previous model.
Battery life has been improved with a larger 4,000mAh battery, up from 3,700mAh in the Flip 5.
The device also introduces a vapor chamber for improved thermal management, a first for the Flip series.
Like its larger sibling, the Flip 6 runs on One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 and comes with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.
It also features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance.
