According to the latest report, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400e chipset, the same processor used in the Galaxy S24 FE. It will come with 8GB of RAM, though it’s unclear if the US variant will use the same chipset or a different one.
The European version has been identified with the model number SM-F761B.
The Galaxy Club report reads (translated from Dutch to English via Google Translate), “We can confirm recent reports that Samsung will most likely equip the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE with the Exynos 2400 processor. This will be the Exynos 2400e variant that can also be found in the Galaxy S24 FE. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM as standard. Our information covers the international version of the device with model number SM-F761B, so we’re cautious about regional versions like the US SM-F761U.”
For cameras, the Z Flip 7 FE is expected to feature a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 10-megapixel ultra-wide sensor on the back, along with a 10-megapixel selfie camera. This is the same camera setup found in the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which was launched in 2023.
Other details about the device are still under wraps, but reports suggest that the Flip 7 FE could be a rebranded version of the Flip 5, upgraded with a newer processor.
It’s also unclear whether Samsung will retain the 3,700 mAh battery from the previous model.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to be a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is rumoured to launch at $1,099. The FE model could be priced around $700 in the US.
