Samsung is reportedly preparing to unveil its much-anticipated Galaxy S26 lineup during its next Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, which is expected to take place at the end of February. According to a report citing sources familiar with the matter, the tech giant’s upcoming AI-centric event will be held in San Francisco, marking its return to the city after three years.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to headline the launch. Here’s what we know so far.
As per a report from a South Korean tech news outlet, Samsung is planning to host the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco on February 25, 2026. Preparations for the major launch have reportedly already begun, though the event is still several months away.
A Samsung official told the publication that “San Francisco has emerged as the centre of AI,” calling it the “perfect location” for the company’s next big announcement. This suggests that Samsung could be gearing up to unveil a fresh wave of AI-driven features across its devices. Notably, this would be Samsung’s first San Francisco-based event since 2023.
Traditionally, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Unpacked events are held in late January or early February. However, this time, the company seems to have pushed the date back due to internal product lineup adjustments.
