The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is all set to move away from the sharp 90° corners in its frame.
If recent reports are to be believed, we may get more rounded edges in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra compared to the predecessor.
The last time we saw such rounded edges was in earlier models such as Galaxy S21 Ultra. Many reviews have pointed out that rounded edges make it easier to hold the phone comfortably in hand.
Rumours about this design shift have been circulating for a while. Previously leaked renders did reveal the overall look of the upcoming smartphones.
However, it is the recent video of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra case that made the rounded edges theory clearer.

Popular tipster Ice Universe on X (previously Twitter) posted a short video that showcased a jelly case for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Earlier in August, it was Ice Universe who hinted that Samsung would round off the sharp corners.
As per reports, the case video was first shared on Weibo. It shows how the Galaxy S25 Ultra edges are noticeably different from the S22 through S24 Ultra models.
Apart from the new rounded design reveal, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature super-thin bezels. As per previously leaked renders, the bezes could be thinner than those on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The phone will also be lighter and slimmer than the current S24 Ultra. The thickness of the phone is expected to be around 8.2mm, which is down from 8.6mm. As for the weight of the phone, it will most likely weigh close to 219g, which is slightly lighter than the 232g.
Moreover, the phone is expected to be slightly narrower. All the leaked design details suggest we will get to see significant improvement in overall ergonomics.
The smartphone will reportedly maintain the same 5,000mAh battery capacity.
The entire Galaxy S25 lineup is rumoured to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. The Ultra version has been certified with satellite connectivity.
