Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to come out at the beginning of the next year with an entirely redesigned camera system, a pretty much unknown leaker says.
Though the information is to be digested with a pinch of salt right now, the rumoured changes hint at an interesting departure from the company’s recent flagship camera setups.

The leak claims the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a triple rear camera setup instead of the quad-camera array on its predecessors.
This would mean a new main sensor and a special telephoto camera featuring dual optical zooms.
This leaks claim that the Galaxy S25 Ultra retains the 200MP resolution and 1/1.3-inch optical format of the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s ISOCELL HP2 sensor for this new primary sensor.
But it will be more light-sensitive, meaning it will produce better images.
Then there is the purported telephoto camera.
Instead of a dedicated 3x zoom lens, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature a single telephoto camera with two optical zoom ranges: 4-5x and 6-7x.
It is worth noting that the source of this leak, @ISAQUES81, is really unknown and yet to build any credible track record.
As such, these rumoured camera specs should be treated with extreme caution until more evidence or corroborating leaks surface.
Samsung usually announces the latest addition to its Galaxy S series of flagships in January, so if the rumours prove true, we should get more concrete details about the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera system in the next months to come before its reported launch early next year.
