Samsung has added two new budget smartphones to its India lineup. The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 have been listed as “coming soon” on Samsung’s website, revealing their key specifications and features ahead of the official sale. Both phones focus on a large battery, a 50-megapixel rear camera and long-term software support. They also bring IP64 protection and the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset to the budget segment.

The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 are listed as coming soon in India and will be available in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. Samsung has not yet announced their prices, colour options or exact sale date.
More details are expected to be revealed closer to the launch.
Samsung Galaxy M08, Galaxy F08 Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 feature a 6.7-inch-class HD+ PLS LCD display with a 720 x 1,600-pixel resolution and support for 16 million colours. Both smartphones measure 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.0mm and weigh 197 grams.
They come with an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, while a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is provided for biometric authentication.
Both phones use the MediaTek Helio G99+ octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz. The chipset is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 run Android 17 and are promised six generations of OS upgrades along with six years of security updates. Samsung has also included features such as Circle to Search, Quick Share, Knox Vault and SmartThings support.
For photography, the smartphones have a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera. An 8MP front camera is available for selfies. The main rear camera supports autofocus and up to 10x digital zoom, while video recording is supported at up to Full HD resolution at 30fps.
A 6,000mAh battery powers both smartphones, with support for 25W fast charging. However, the charging adapter will need to be purchased separately.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and a USB Type-C port. Samsung has also retained a 3.5mm headphone jack on both models.
