Samsung has officially launched its new budget-friendly 5G smartphone the Samsung Galaxy F06 5G in India after releasing continuous teasers in the last few weeks.
Commenting on the launch, the General Manager of MX Business Samsung India Akshay S Rao said, “We are proud to announce our most affordable 5G smartphone, designed to make next-generation connectivity accessible to everyone. The launch of Galaxy F06 5G reflects our commitment to bridging the digital divide and empowering millions of consumers with a complete 5G experience, superior performance, and an all-new stylish design at an introductory price starting INR 9499. With Galaxy F06 5G, we are not just launching a smartphone, but new possibilities for every Indian.”

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy F06 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with an 8MP selfie camera housed inside a notch. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and an additional 6GB of virtual RAM for smoother multitasking.
The phone ships with Android 15 and One UI 7 and Samsung has confirmed four generations of OS updates and four years of security updates for the device.
The Galaxy F06 5G has a ‘Ripple Glow’ finish, which gives it a shimmering effect. It comes with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor at the back. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support but Samsung does not include a charger in the box.
The Galaxy F06 5G is available in two colours including Bahama Blue and Lit Violet. It is priced at ₹9,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and ₹10,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model (including a ₹500 bank cashback offer).
The phone will be available starting February 20th across retail stores, Samsung.com and online platforms.
