Samsung has officially unveiled its latest A-series smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, after multiple teasers and leaks. The new smartphones bring premium features like AMOLED displays, triple rear cameras, and long-term software support to the mid-range segment.
“The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratization by bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. “With Samsung’s fundamental capabilities combined with enriched Awesome Intelligence, Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G will deliver reliable everyday performance to users around the world and drive rapid AI expansion.” Here’s everything we know about the features.
The newly launched Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are currently available for pre-order via Amazon with deliveries scheduled to begin on April 2.
The Galaxy A57 5G starts at Rs. 56,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the higher-end 12GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 62,499. It is offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colour options.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G is priced at Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs. 47,499 and Rs. 52,999, respectively. It is available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen shades.

Both the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung has confirmed that the devices will receive six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, along with up to six years of security updates.
The smartphones feature a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display also supports Samsung’s Vision Booster technology for improved visibility in different lighting conditions.
While Samsung has not officially disclosed the processors, the Galaxy A57 5G is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, whereas the Galaxy A37 5G is likely to run on the Exynos 1480 processor. Both models offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, both smartphones sport triple rear camera setups led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The Galaxy A57 5G includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera (f/2.2) and a 5-megapixel macro shooter (f/2.4). On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 5G comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens (f/2.2) alongside a 5-megapixel macro sensor (f/2.4).
For selfies and video calls, both devices feature a 12-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The camera systems are enhanced with AI-driven tools such as object eraser, best face, filters, and edit suggestions. Additional AI features include Voice Transcription, AI Select, and Circle to Search with Google. The devices also come with an Auto Trim feature for video editing.
Samsung has equipped both smartphones with a 5,000mAh battery, which is claimed to offer up to two days of usage on a single charge. The devices support Super Fast Charging 2.0, which can charge the battery from zero to 60 percent in around 30 minutes.
The Galaxy A57 5G measures 161.5×76.8×6.9mm and weighs 179g, while the Galaxy A37 5G measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm and weighs 196g.
For security, both devices feature Samsung Knox Vault. Additionally, they come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making them durable options in their segment.
