Samsung has officially launched its three A-Series smartphones – the Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 – in India and global markets. These phones bring a mix of powerful performance, camera improvements and long-term software support. Here’s everything we know about the phones starting with its pricing and availability.

The phones will be available globally starting this March. However, the Galaxy A56 5G will arrive in the US later this year.
All three phones come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. The A56 and A36 also offer up to 1200 nits HBM brightness and 1900 nits peak brightness, making them easy to use even under direct sunlight.
The Galaxy A56 is the first phone to feature the Exynos 1580 4nm SoC, while the Galaxy A36 debuts with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. Both models come with a larger vapor chamber for improved thermal management. The A26, on the other hand, sticks to the Exynos 1380 processor.
All three devices have an IP67 rating, meaning they are dust- and water-resistant. The A56 takes it up a notch with a metal frame for a more premium feel.
Samsung is ensuring six years of Android OS and One UI updates for these phones, along with six years of security updates.
If you’re getting the Galaxy A56 5G Enterprise Edition, you’ll receive seven years of security and One UI updates, a three-year warranty, and a two-year product lifecycle guarantee. It also comes with a one-year Knox Suite Enterprise Plan for business users.
Samsung has packed a 50MP main camera with OIS in all three models. The A56 and A36 also support 10-bit HDR recording on both the front and rear cameras. The A56 has a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, while the A36 and A26 come with an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
Moreover, the A56 and A36 include a 5MP macro sensor, whereas the A26 features a 2MP macro sensor.
The A56 5G introduces the Best Face feature, which allows users to pick the best expressions from a motion photo for up to five people in a group shot. The Nightography mode now includes Low Noise Mode in the 12MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the A36 and A26 come with Object Eraser for quick photo edits.
All three phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The A56 and A36 support 45W fast charging with Super Fast Charge 2.0, while the A26 sticks to 25W fast charging.

The A36 shares the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED HDR display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 710 GPU, coupled with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The camera setup consists of a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro sensor, while the front camera is 12MP.
Like the A56, it also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP67 rating, stereo speakers and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The A26 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Exynos 1380 processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor, along with a 13MP front camera. Unlike the other two models, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It also has IP67 water resistance, stereo speakers, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
