Upcoming Samsung mid-range smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, has surfaced on the Geekbench database, revealing key hardware details ahead of its official debut. While not much is known about this Galaxy A36 successor as of now, we are getting details of some of the key specs. Based on reports, here’s what we know about the smartphone and its benchmark performance.

A new Samsung device carrying the model number SM-A376B has been listed on Geekbench. Speculations based on the company’s model-number pattern, it is widely believed to be the upcoming Galaxy A37 5G.

The device posted a single-core score of 1158 and a multi-core score of 3401. The benchmark listing highlights an octa-core processor arranged in a dual-cluster setup, four cores clocked at 2.75GHz and four cores running at 2.05GHz. The source code identifies the GPU as the Samsung Xclipse 530, while the motherboard identifier “s5e8845” strongly suggests that the phone is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset.

As for comparison, these early results show a slight performance improvement compared to the Galaxy A37 5G.

The listing further confirms that the tested unit was running Android 16 and included 6GB of RAM.

With its first benchmark appearance now public, the device’s official unveiling may not be far off. We can expect more details in the coming days when the launch approaches.
