In an interview with Korean publication SisaJournal, Samsung confirmed that despite launching a region-limited Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, there are no plans to create a lower-priced version of the Galaxy Z Fold.

A company spokesperson stated, “Rather than thinking of [Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition] as a premium product, it’s a product released to expand your options. You can choose according to your taste. As of now, we have no plans to release a separate product with a lower price.”

The different Galaxy Z Fold model’s price has been between $1,799 to $1,899 for a few years since its launch.
