Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Watch 6 in China, expanding its budget smartwatch lineup with a large AMOLED screen, impressive battery life, and deep integration with the company’s HyperOS ecosystem. The smartwatch was unveiled alongside the Redmi K90, Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphones. The brand has also updated the Redmi K Pad tablet lineup, which now includes a new “Flowing Gold White” colour option. Here’s more about Watch 6 and the new K Pad colour.
The Redmi Watch 6 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 432×514 pixels, offering 2000 nits peak brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. It sports ultra-slim 2mm bezels and achieves an 82% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. The screen is protected by 2.5D curved glass and supports a full-colour Always-On Display (AOD) at 5Hz, enabling users to check time and notifications even when idle.
Design-wise, the smartwatch includes a dual-button layout with a repositioned stainless-steel crown and an extra side button for quick access to key functions. The case measures 46.45 × 40.03 × 9.94 mm, weighing 31 grams without the strap. It uses a high-strength aluminium alloy frame and supports quick-release straps, available in both silicone and vegan leather finishes.
Powering the device is a 550mAh battery that delivers up to 24 days of life in basic mode, 12 days under typical usage, and 7 days with AOD enabled. It supports magnetic charging and features a linear vibration motor offering more than 20 haptic feedback styles.
For positioning, the Redmi Watch 6 supports independent dual-L1 GNSS, compatible with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou. On the health side, it includes 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, sleep and stress monitoring, and women’s health management. The device is rated 5ATM water-resistant, making it suitable for swimming and shallow-water workouts.
Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate support for over 150 sports modes including automatic recognition for walking, running, and cycling. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, music playback, voice recording, compass, weather updates, calendar sync, and remote camera control.
The watch runs on HyperOS 3, allowing seamless interaction across smartphones, smart home devices, and even vehicles. Users can control home appliances, unlock compatible cars, and access interactive notifications. It also supports the Xiao Ai voice assistant, while Android users can reply to WeChat messages directly from the watch.
The Redmi Watch 6 is priced at 599 yuan (approximately $84) in China and is available in Misty Blue, Elegant Black, and Moonlight Silver colour options.

Xiaomi has refreshed its Redmi K Pad tablet lineup with a stunning new “Flowing Gold White” colour variant. The tablet starts at 2,999 yuan ($420) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration including a 100-yuan ($14) first-sale discount.
A 16GB + 512GB variant is also available at a launch price of 3,499 yuan ($490).
This elegant new finish joins the existing Deep Black, Misty Purple, and Spruce Green colour options.
The tablet retains its 8.8-inch LCD panel with a 3008×1880 resolution, 165Hz variable refresh rate, and 700 nits peak brightness. The display supports HDR10, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
It is powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, offering up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. It features a centred thermal design with a 12050mm² aluminium alloy vapour chamber for efficient cooling and supports native 3K full-frame gaming powered by the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.
Audio and haptics are handled by a quad-speaker setup with four-voice coil drivers and Dolby Atmos support, alongside dual X-axis linear motors for immersive feedback.
The Redmi K Pad is equipped with a 7500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Camera specifications include a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. The tablet measures 6.46mm thick and weighs 326 grams, combining premium design with flagship-grade performance. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 and USB 2.0 ports. Xiaomi has also added bypass charging with a new dual-USB-C design.
