Redmi is said to be developing its next-generation Turbo 6 smartphone lineup and a fresh leak has revealed some of the key specifications ahead of its official debut. Here’s a look at what we know based on recent tipster post.

Redmi Turbo 6 and Turbo 6 Max Specifications Tipped

The latest details come from tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, who has shared information about the display, battery, chipset, and other hardware expected on the upcoming smartphones.

According to the leak, both smartphones in the Redmi Turbo 6 series are expected to feature a large 7-inch display paired with a 10,000mAh battery, making them some of the biggest battery-focused devices in Redmi’s portfolio.

The standard Redmi Turbo 6 is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8-series processor. The chipset is believed to be the upcoming Dimensity 8600, which is reportedly being built on TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process. The same processor is also expected to power the rumoured Honor Power 3, a smartphone that is said to feature an even larger 12,000mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max is expected to arrive with a Dimensity 9-series chipset. Although MediaTek has not officially confirmed the processor, previous leaks suggest it could be the upcoming Dimensity 9600s.

Expected Features

Earlier reports have also indicated that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a 2K resolution display, offering a sharper viewing experience than its predecessor.

In addition, the device is tipped to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance, bringing several flagship-grade features to the smartphone.

Launch Timeline

Following the launch of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max in China earlier this year, the company is expected to continue the lineup with both Redmi Turbo 6 and Redmi Turbo 6 Max models.

Based on the latest information, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max is expected to debut in January 2027. However, it is still unclear whether the standard Redmi Turbo 6 will be unveiled alongside the Max variant or arrive at a later date.
