The buzz is that Redmi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 14 series and the Redmi K80 series.
Both handsets are for the Chinese market and their launch is expected before November this year.
However, alongside these, Redmi is also reportedly working on the Redmi Turbo 4, which might not see the light of the day until early or mid-2025.
But a far-away launch date never stops online communities from doing what it does best – leaking exclusive details.
Recently, we reported that the Redmi Turbo 4 with the model number 2412DRT0AC was spotted in the IMEI database.
It’s speculated that this device could be launched globally, including in India, under the Poco F7 branding.
The global model has the number 2412DPC0AG, while the Indian variant is identified as 2412DPC0AI.
Although the “2412” in the model numbers suggests a December release, the Turbo 4 might launch in Q2 2025, with the Poco F7 following a few weeks later in other markets.
Now another speculation has leaked some more details about the Redmi Turbo 4 aka POCO F7.
According to reliable tipster Experience More, the Redmi Turbo 4 will feature a flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a plastic frame.
As a rebranded model, the Poco F7 is expected to share these same specifications, indicating there won’t be significant changes in display and build from their predecessors.
There’s no confirmed information about the chipset powering the Redmi Turbo 4/Poco F7, but speculation suggests it might use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, following the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the previous generation.
The leaker also hinted that the Redmi Turbo 4 will come with a large battery, though the exact size wasn’t revealed.
Given that the Turbo 3 had a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, the Turbo 4/F7 will likely have at least a 5,500mAh battery.
As for the more immediate launches, the Note 14 series is expected to debut either later this month or in September.
