The latest teaser video on Redmi India’s social media channels carries the tagline of “Suit up. Your Hero Mode is Coming.” This could be a hint at a possible focus on performance or gaming-oriented features.
While the company has not confirmed the name of the upcoming device, the teaser strongly suggests that it could be part of the Redmi R series.
The teaser video also offers a partial look at the smartphone’s design. It appears to feature a dual rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash, although detailed design elements remain under wraps for now.

The update is currently being pushed to several smartphones and tablets including the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi 15C, POCO C85 5G, POCO X6, POCO X7 Pro, Redmi Pad 2 (WiFi + Cellular), Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, Redmi Pad SE and POCO Pad M1.
