After introducing the Redmi Note 15 at the beginning of this year, the company has now expanded the lineup with the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. The new Pro models build on the foundation of the standard Note 15, bringing noticeable improvements in design, camera hardware, and overall performance. Here’s more on both the models.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G is priced in India starting at Rs. 37,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is available in Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black colour options.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G starts at PLN 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. The phone is offered in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black finishes.
Xiaomi is also offering bank discounts of up to Rs. 3,000 on HDFC Bank, SBI, and ICICI credit card transactions. With these offers applied, the effective launch prices of the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G come down to Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 34,999, respectively.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro Plus feature a flat frame design paired with a refreshed rear panel. While the squircle-shaped camera module remains similar to the one seen on the standard Note 15, the Pro models arrive in new colour options.
Buyers can choose between a glass back or a textured, leather-like finish on both devices.
Xiaomi has also focused on durability, equipping the Redmi Note 15 Pro series with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the front, both smartphones are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. They sport an identical 6.83-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits.
Camera upgrades are one of the key highlights of the Pro lineup. While the standard Redmi Note 15 offers a 108-megapixel primary sensor, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus step up to a new 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Both models support 4K video recording and include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
There is a difference on the front as well. The Redmi Note 15 Pro is equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera, whereas the Note 15 Pro Plus features a higher-resolution 32-megapixel front-facing sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. The Redmi Note 15 Pro, on the other hand, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset.
Battery capacity varies slightly between the two models. The Note 15 Pro Plus packs a 6,500mAh battery, while the Note 15 Pro gets a marginally larger 6,580mAh cell. Both smartphones support 100W fast charging.
