Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 15 in China, joining the Pro and Pro+ models in its Note 15 lineup. The new mid-range device is designed to combine a slim form factor, durable build quality, and well-balanced performance for everyday users. Here’s everything you need to know about the phone.

The Redmi Note 15 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. For gamers, the response rate can ramp up to 2560Hz, ensuring smooth and responsive controls. The screen reaches an impressive 3200 nits peak brightness and supports 12-bit color depth with DCI-P3 coverage. It also comes with high-frequency PWM dimming, TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor clocks up to 2.4GHz and is paired with an Adreno GPU, making it suitable for multitasking and mid-range gaming.
The phone is available in multiple configurations with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. On the software side, it runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, offering AI-driven optimisations, smoother performance, and enhanced personalisation features.
For photography, the Redmi Note 15 comes with a dual rear camera setup. The primary shooter is a 50MP Light Hunter 400 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 1/2.88-inch sensor size, and 4-in-1 fusion pixels for improved low-light shots. It supports EIS, automatic night mode, film filters, watermark effects, document scanning, and can record 4K videos at 30fps.
The secondary 2MP depth sensor helps capture portrait effects. On the front, the device houses an 8MP selfie camera with portrait, night, and time-lapse modes.

With a thickness of just 7.35mm (7.4mm for the Star White variant) and a weight of 178g, the Note 15 is slim and lightweight. It carries an IP66 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Redmi Note 15 is backed by a 5800mAh Jinsajiang battery with a Surge G1 chip for better power management. It supports 45W PD fast charging and also offers 18W reverse wired charging, allowing users to power up accessories or other devices.
For audio, it comes with dual stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, capable of producing 300% louder sound output.
Connectivity features include 5G dual standby, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, infrared remote control, and multiple navigation systems including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou.
