Xiaomi India has officially announced the sale of its latest budget smartphone lineup, the Redmi A7 Series. The sale is starting today i.e. April 24, 2026 at 12 noon. The new series includes the Redmi A7 and Redmi A7 Pro offering reliable performance, immersive displays and long-lasting battery life for everyday users. The Redmi A7 Series will be available for purchase starting today (24th April) via Amazon India, Flipkart, Mi.com and Xiaomi retail stores across the country.
The Redmi A7 is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and comes in Black and Blue colour options.
Meanwhile, the Redmi A7 Pro is available at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The model is offered in Black and Orange shades.
The Redmi A7 features a large 6.88-inch display, while the Redmi A7 Pro comes with a slightly bigger 6.9-inch HD+ display that supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate offering smoother visuals and an improved viewing experience. Both smartphones are designed for comfort and usability featuring triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection along with wet touch technology to ensure consistent responsiveness even in different conditions.
In terms of performance, the Redmi A7 Series comes with 64GB of internal storage paired with LPDDR4X RAM along with support for virtual RAM expansion to deliver smoother multitasking. For photography, both devices are equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera suitable for everyday photos and video calls.
The smartphones support 15W charging with a charger included in the box and feature smart battery management for efficient power usage. Moreover, they offer 7.5W wired reverse charging allowing users to charge other devices when needed.
Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP52-rated durability and a 3.5mm headphone jack for added convenience.
On the software side, the devices provide a clean and user-friendly experience with the Redmi A7 Pro offering additional features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search for more intuitive interactions.
For connectivity, the Redmi A7 Series supports dual nano SIM cards and includes a dedicated microSD card slot expandable up to 2TB ensuring ample storage flexibility for users.
