A new Redmi smartphone has appeared on the FCC certification database and reports suggest it could be the upcoming Redmi 17 4G. Alongside this, fresh details about several other Redmi and Poco devices have also surfaced through HyperOS codebase and IMEI listings. According to recept reports, Redmi 17 4G is the smartphone that was spotted on the FCC database with the model number 26012RN62L and FCC ID 2AFZZRN62L. While the FCC listing does not explicitly confirm the device name, earlier reports suggest that these model numbers are linked to the Redmi 17 4G. Another model number 26012RN62Y has also been mentioned in connection with the same device.
In any case, the certification reveals key connectivity features including GSM, WCDMA, and 4G network support along with dual-SIM functionality. The device is also expected to support Bluetooth (BR/EDR/LE) and dual-band WiFi with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
The listing further highlights multiple memory configurations for the device including 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options as well as 8GB RAM paired with 256GB and 512GB storage variants.

According to the HyperOS codebase, the device carries the codename “zephyr” with an internal model number P19A matching the FCC listing.

In terms of market availability, the Redmi 17 4G with codename “zephyr” is expected to launch across multiple regions including global markets such as Europe, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Russia.
