Redmi has officially launched the Redmi 15C 5G in India, introducing a new budget-friendly smartphone. The model is aimed at users who prioritise long battery life and affordable 5G connectivity. The device brings a refreshed design, a capable MediaTek chipset and a massive battery. Launching the device with a promotional video on its official Redmi India X handle, the company posted, “From performance to power to price, the #REDMI15C 5G rules it all!”

The Redmi 15C 5G starts at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB/128GB variant. The 6GB/128GB model is priced at Rs 13,999, while the top-tier 8GB/128GB version costs Rs 15,499.
The smartphone will be available starting December 11 via Amazon, Mi.com and Redmi’s official retail partners.
The Redmi 15C 5G sports a flat plastic frame paired with a polycarbonate back. At the rear, it features a square camera island with two large cutouts housing the dual-camera system. The redesigned Redmi logo sits prominently at the bottom.
The Moonlight Blue variant comes with a glossy sparkle finish, while the phone is also available in Dusk Purple and Midnight Black colour options.
The device is equipped with a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Redmi says the panel can hit up to 810 nits of peak brightness. The large screen is optimised for media-heavy apps especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, making it a suitable pick for users who consume a lot of short-form video content.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is built to deliver dependable performance for everyday use. According to Redmi, users can also expect a solid gaming experience thanks to the processor paired with the high refresh rate display.
For photography, the Redmi 15C 5G comes with a dual rear AI camera setup led by a 50MP primary shooter. On the front, an 8MP camera handles selfies and video calls.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is its 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. Redmi promises extended battery endurance, and the phone supports 33W fast charging along with 10W reverse charging. A charger is included in the box.
