Redmi has launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Redmi 15 5G, in India. The device was first introduced in Malaysia earlier this month and has now made its way to the Indian market. Its biggest highlight is the massive 7,000mAh EV-grade silicon-carbon battery, marking the first time a phone in this price segment features a silicon-carbon cell. This technology not only delivers a larger battery but also helps maintain a relatively slim profile for such a big device. Here’s more on the newly launched smartphone.
The Redmi 15 5G starts at Rs 14,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is also available in two higher configurations, 8GB + 128GB at Rs 15,999 and 8GB + 256GB at Rs 16,999.
Sales begin on August 28 at 12 PM, via Xiaomi’s official website, Amazon, and offline retail stores.
Buyers can choose from Midnight Black, Frosty White, and Sandy Purple colour options.
