Redmi has teased the upcoming launch of a new 5G smartphone in India with a poster shared on X (formerly Twitter). The teaser hints at a global debut early in 2025 featuring the hashtag “2025G.”
While the official name hasn’t been confirmed leaks suggest it could be the Redmi 14C 5G, a successor to the Redmi 13C, which launched in December 2023.

The teaser image shows the phone’s silhouette with what appears to be a large circular camera module.
The 5G branding suggests the phone will support next-gen network capabilities.
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the phone in question is the Redmi 14C 5G.

Its Indian variant bearing the model number 2411DRN47I was recently spotted on Geekbench. The listing revealed:
This same model number has also appeared in the IMEI database and Xiaomi’s HyperOS source code, hinting at an imminent launch.
The IMEI listings reveal the model numbers: 2411DRN47G, 2411DRN47R, 2411DRN47I and 2411DRN47C.
Reports suggest the Redmi 14C 5G could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R, which launched in China in September 2023.
