It appears Realme may soon expand its P4 series in India with a new budget smartphone. The Realme P4s Lite has now appeared on Google Play’s Supported Devices list, adding to an earlier BIS certification for the device. Both developments suggest that the phone could be getting closer to its official India launch. Here’s what we know so far.
Realme P4s Lite Listed on Google Play
According to reports, the upcoming Realme P4s Lite with the model number RMX5398 has now been spotted on the Google Play Supported Devices list. The listing does not reveal any details about the phone’s hardware or specifications. However, its appearance on the platform suggests that Realme could launch the smartphone soon.
The device could potentially be unveiled later this month, although Realme has not confirmed any launch date yet.
The same RMX5398 model number was previously found on the BIS certification database. This certification further indicated that the smartphone is being prepared for the Indian market.
Realme P4s Lite Expected Specifications
Previous reports have suggested that the Realme P4s Lite will sit at the more affordable end of the P4 series. The phone is tipped to come with 4GB of RAM along with either 64GB or 128GB of storage.
The smartphone is also expected to be offered in Moonlight Silver and Nebula Black colour options. However, none of these specifications or colour options has been confirmed by Realme so far. The final hardware and other details could therefore be different when the phone is officially launched.
Realme already has several P4-branded smartphones covering different price ranges. The P4s Lite could therefore target buyers looking for a more affordable way to enter the P4 lineup. The phone could potentially be priced at around Rs 15,000, although there is no official pricing information yet.
