realme has launched two new smartphones realme Neo 7 SE and realme Neo 7x as part of its standalone Neo series in China. Both smartphones follow last year’s realme Neo 7 and bring notable upgrades including a powerful battery, high-refresh-rate displays and capable chipsets.
The Neo 7x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, while the Neo 7 SE features the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX. Here’s everything you need to know about their prices, specifications and key features.

The realme Neo 7 SE sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat gaming display with ultra-thin 1.49mm bezels and a 93.9% screen-to-body ratio. It offers a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a 2600Hz instant touch response for smoother interactions.
The display reaches an impressive 6000 nits peak brightness and supports 10,000-level automatic brightness adjustment. It also includes TÜV Rheinland’s Smart Eye Protection Certification 3.0 for reduced eye strain.
The Neo 7x comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, Pro-XDR technology, and a 1500Hz instant touch sampling rate. The screen boasts a peak brightness of 2000 nits and 111% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, making it vibrant and easy to view under sunlight.
Despite the large battery, the Neo 7x remains slim at 7.97mm and weighs just 194g.
Although the realme Neo series has separated from the GT lineup, the Neo 7 SE is seen as a successor to the GT Neo 6 SE. The biggest upgrade is the 7,000mAh battery, up from 5,500mAh in the previous model. However, charging speed has dropped from 100W to 80W.
Another change is in the front camera, the Neo 7 SE now has a 16MP sensor, compared to 32MP on the GT Neo 6 SE. The Azure Mecha colour variant features a 3D micro-convex mecha texture and an orange-accented power button for a unique look.
Meanwhile, the realme Neo 7x is a brand-new addition to the series and is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. There are rumours that it might launch in other markets including India as the realme 14 5G or realme P3.
