Realme is lining up another budget 5G phone launch in India, hot on the heels of last month’s Narzo 70 Pro 5G.
The new Realme Narzo 70x 5G is set to be unveiled on April 24th with an appealing sub-Rs12,000 price tag.
Despite its affordable cost, leaked specs suggest the Narzo 70x will still pack a reasonably capable array of hardware.
It’s tipped to feature a large 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD display with 950 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, rumours point to a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip with Mali-G57 GPU, backed by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone should also ship with Android 14 out of the box.
In the camera department, a 50MP main sensor is expected to lead a dual rear setup, accompanied by a 2MP auxiliary lens.
Selfie duties will likely be handled by an 8MP front-facing shooter.
Other highlights being discussed include a sizeable 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IP54 water resistance rating.
Dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity are also rumoured.
Realme itself has already confirmed a few key details ahead of the April 24th launch event.
The Narzo 70x will indeed feature 5G, run the latest Android version, and crucially undercut the Rs12,000 price point.
If the leaked specs prove accurate, the Narzo 70x shapes up as an enticing budget all-rounder for the Indian market.
With unrivalled local pricing and brand support, it could give Redmi and Infinix’s cheaper 5G phones some stiff competition.
