Realme has announced a price revision for select smartphones in India. According to an official communication shared with retail partners shared by a tipster on X, the company will increase the prices of two Realme C-series smartphones due to the growing costs of memory, chipsets and the overall smartphone ecosystem.

The revised pricing came into effect from June 1, 2026. Here are all the details you need to know.

Realme C71 4G Price Increased by Rs 1,000

The Realme C71 4G variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage has received a price hike of Rs 1,000.

The smartphone was previously available at an MBP (Market Billing Price) of Rs 11,999. Following the revision, its new MBP stands at Rs 12,999.

Realme C85 5G Also Gets a Price Revision

Realme has also increased the prices of two storage variants of the Realme C85 5G.

The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model has seen its price rise from Rs 20,999 to Rs 21,999 reflecting a Rs 1,000 increase.

Similarly, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version now costs Rs 23,999 up from its earlier price of Rs 22,999.

What Does This Mean for Buyers?

The updated prices are already in effect and apply from June 1, 2026. While Realme has currently revised the pricing of only three variants, the move reflects the broader impact of increasing component and manufacturing costs on the smartphone industry.

Realme stated that the price adjustment has become necessary because of an “unavoidable increase in memory, chipset, and overall smart phone ecosystem costs.”
