Realme has officially confirmed the arrival of the Realme C85 in India. This confirmation comes following earlier leaks that suggested a November debut. The company has now announced that the smartphone will launch on 28 November 2025 at 12 PM and a dedicated Flipkart microsite is already revealing several major features. Here’s what we know.
According to the listing, the Realme C85 will stand out with its massive 7,000mAh battery. The brand claims it can deliver up to 22 hours of video streaming, 50 hours of voice calls, and as much as 145 hours of music playback on a single charge. Even at 1 per cent battery, the phone is said to offer 9 hours of standby or 40 minutes of calling. Charging capabilities include 45W wired fast charging and 6.5W reverse charging.
The device also brings durability upgrades such as military-grade shock protection, IP69 certification for dust and water resistance, and a claimed 6-year battery health lifespan. The front features a 1200-nit AMOLED display, while the back houses a 50MP Sony main camera equipped with AI-powered editing tools.
Realme had introduced the Realme C85 series in Vietnam earlier this month. However, it remains unclear whether the Indian variant matches the international model. According to reports, the Vietnamese C85 used an LCD panel, whereas the Pro variant offered an AMOLED screen. More clarity is expected at the official launch.
On the pricing front, tipster Sanju Choudhary suggests that the Realme C85 will be available in 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB configurations, priced at ₹15,499 and ₹16,999, respectively.
With the launch date locked in, additional details and confirmations should surface soon as Realme prepares to unveil its latest budget smartphone in the country.
