Realme has introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Realme C83 5G, in India. The new handset arrives in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment and highlights features such as a large 7,000mAh battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched handset.
The Realme C83 5G is priced at Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 14,499, while the top-end 6GB + 128GB configuration is priced at Rs. 17,499.
As part of the launch offers, Realme is providing six months of no-cost EMI options for buyers.
The smartphone will go on sale starting March 7 at 12 PM. It will be available via Flipkart, the Realme official website and major retail stores across India.

It has two colour options, which are Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
The Realme C83 5G features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother scrolling and more responsive gameplay.
In terms of durability, the phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. This means the device can handle water splashes or light rain but is not designed for full water submersion. The handset also comes with Military-Grade Shock Resistance, aimed at protecting it from accidental drops.
For performance, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6nm chipset, paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. The smartphone also includes a 5334mm² vapor chamber cooling system, which helps maintain stable performance during intensive tasks.
On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 on top. The company promises four years of “optimised smooth performance” for the device.
Battery life is another highlight of the handset. The Realme C83 5G packs a 7,000mAh Titan battery and supports 15W charging. It also offers 5W wired reverse charging, allowing the device to power other gadgets.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 13-megapixel AI rear camera. On the front, a 5-megapixel selfie camera is placed inside a waterdrop notch, which is used for selfies and video calls.
The handset weighs around 212g and includes a 300 percent super volume speaker for louder audio output. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and 5G connectivity.
