New leak has revealed key details about the upcoming Realme 16T 5G including its design, specifications and possible launch timeline. The information comes from a tipster on X who shared a leaked marketing material that gives an early look at the device. Here’s what we know about the upcoming smartphone so far.
The design of the Realme 16T 5G has surfaced via leaked promotional material hinting at a refreshed look for the upcoming model.
Meanwhile, the smartphone has also been officially registered in Indonesia’s TKDN database with the model number RMX5268 confirming its existence ahead of launch.
As per the leakster, the device is expected to launch sometime between May and June this year. We can expect a more concrete time frame to emerge in the coming days.
According to the tipsters, the Realme 16T 5G is tipped to feature a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. The device is likely to come with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage ensuring decent performance for everyday tasks. In terms of optics, the phone is said to include a 50-megapixel primary camera.
On the software front, the smartphone is expected to run Android 16 with Realme UI 7 on top.
One of the key highlights of the Realme 16T 5G could be its large battery. The leak suggests a battery capacity ranging between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh, which could deliver extended usage on a single charge.
The device is also tipped to feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance making it more durable than many phones in its segment. However, it is expected to come with a plastic body and frame.
The Realme 16T 5G is expected to launch in multiple configurations including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variants.
In terms of colours, the phone may be available in Starlight Red, Starlight Black and Aurora Green options.
While the official pricing of the Realme 16T 5G is yet to be revealed, the leak references the launch price of its predecessor the Realme 15T that debuted in October 2025. The 8GB + 128GB variant was priced at Rp3.699.000, while the 8GB + 256GB model cost Rp3.999.000.
Based on this, the Realme 16T 5G is expected to be positioned in a similar price range.
