Realme 15 Pro 5G – Design and Build Quality

We’ve been using the Realme 15 Pro 5G in the Silk Purple colour for this review and from the very first glance, this colour gives off a cool vibe. Realme says the design is inspired by party attire aligning with the marketing hook. The soft matte back of this colour has this classy purple hue with a gentle sparkle that shimmers subtly under light. It doesn’t attract fingerprints or smudges, so that’s a win.
The curves on both the screen and back blend with the frame. Realme calls it their Deep 4D Curve+ design and it does feel sleek and seamless.
The camera module at the back looks like it has three lenses, but that’s just smart design to carry on the illusion of three cameras. But there are actually two cameras on the back, and the third cutout is for the Pulse light. All of it sits neatly on a slightly raised glass plate, adding a bit of stylish sense to the overall design. The good thing is it doesn’t make the phone look any bulkier.
What’s surprising is how slim and light this phone feels, especially considering it packs a massive 7000mAh battery inside. At just 7.69mm thick and 187g in weight, it’s honestly one of the most comfortable big-battery phones we’ve held.
The build quality is decent. It has a polycarbonate body but feels sturdy in the hand. The phone is IP69 rated, which means it can handle dust, splashes, and even being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes. We don’t recommend dunking it in a pool or anything, but the IP rating does cover for little downpour.
Realme 15 Pro 5G – Display

Realme 15 Pro 5G boasts a stunning 6.8-inch AMOLED panel. We’ve been using it as our main smartphone for a few days now, and the display is quite impressive in performance. With a 144Hz dynamic refresh rate, everything from scrolling through apps to gaming feels silky smooth on this display.
Realme’s High-brightness Sunlight Display tech really kicks in under harsh sunlight. We didn’t feel the need to squint or max out brightness manually. With a wild peak brightness of 6500 nits, content stays punchy and visible even on the sunniest afternoons.
Watching HDR content on Netflix or Prime Video is a treat, thanks to 100% P3 color saturation and 10-bit support for over a billion colors. Blacks are deep and the contrast is excellent. The text looks sharp with 453 PPI on that 1280×2800 resolution panel. It even has 4608Hz PWM dimming, which makes a noticeable difference during night-time use and ensures there is no eye strain even after a long YouTube binge.
15 Pro comes with a 4D Curve+ display, which means it is curved on the sides to have an edge-to-edge look. Complementing that are uniform narrow bezels, that ensure an immersive experience for the user.
As for the durability, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass to perfectly handle scratches, splashes and daily wear.
Realme 15 Pro 5G – Performance

Powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, Realme 15 Pro handles daily tasks well. That Kryo CPU setup (topping out at 2.8GHz) and the 4nm process clearly deliver on both performance and power efficiency. Whether we were flipping between a dozen apps, taking calls, uploading to Drive, or editing photos on the go, 15 Pro didn’t show any noticeable stutters.
The phone boots up fast, apps launch in a snap and the Realme AI Multi-Tasker ensures frequently used apps open seconds quicker. Animations are fluid and general responsiveness is as snappy as you’d expect from a mid-ranger.
As we tested on multiple benchmarking platforms, we got pretty good results. The phone scored over 1 million on AnTuTu. It also clocked 1206 in single-core and 3538 in multi-core CPU tests on Geekbench 6. Below are more benchmarking results –
Now, let’s talk about gaming. We tested it with BGMI and even Genshin Impact on higher and medium settings. The frame rates stayed consistent, even during those intense multiplayer moments. We didn’t notice any major stutters or lags. The AI Gaming Coach and GT Boost 3.0 are a good addition to boost gaming performance even further. They subtly adjust touch sensitivity with Ultra Touch Control. The phone maintains smooth motion through AI Motion Control and high-temperature frame stability.

We also didn’t face any heating issues with this phone, thanks to the 7000mm² VC cooling sheet. The phone barely got warm even after a 45-minute gaming session.
As for software, Realme 15 Pro 5G runs smoothly on Realme UI 6.0. However, the experience isn’t entirely flawless. There’s a noticeable amount of bloatware pre-installed, a classic Realme move. Some of these pre-installed apps start sending push notifications right out of the box, which can get annoying fast. Most of these can be uninstalled, but most users would prefer a clean, distraction-free UI from a phone in this price segment from the start.
Realme 15 Pro 5G – Camera Performance

Now, Realme is pushing the idea that the camera system on the 15 Pro is one of the strongest. The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor on the rear. With a large 1/1.56″ sensor, wide f/1.8 aperture and support for 2-axis OIS, it captures sharp, well-exposed shots in daylight with natural-looking details. Colours lean slightly toward vibrancy but not in an overdone way. There is definitely some artificial processing happening in the photos but they don’t overpower the scene.

The second lens on the rear is a 50MP ultra-wide lens, which uses the OmniVision OV50D sensor. We noticed a good balance between field of view and distortion control. It covers a wide 115.6° angle and supports EIS. Detail retention is solid, though dynamic range does take a hit compared to the main sensor.
The rear camera is particularly impressive in low light. Realme is claiming it to be a party phone and for that, the phone has some nice filters. There are also a bunch of features that can expand your photography experience, making the camera a lot more versatile.

Then there’s the 50MP OV50D sensor on the front. It keeps the shots crisp and fairly colour-accurate. Skin tones are handled nicely with minimal over-smoothing.
Realme 15 Pro 5G DayLight Video
Realme 15 Pro 5G Night Video
In terms of video, you get up to 4K at 60fps, which runs well with good stabilisation and dynamic range, especially from the main lens. The default video is set at 1080p 30fps, where beauty mode is active by default. We tried recording a few videos in different lighting conditions and the results were decent. However, some fine-tuning might be needed in future updates.
Realme 15 Pro 5G – Battery and Charging

Realme 15 Pro 5G’s biggest highlight is the massive 7000mAh Titan Battery. This is more than enough power for an average user to run through more than a day or two on a single full charge. Even with heavy social media scrolling, calls, gaming and YouTube, we were consistently getting two full days of use on a single charge. On light use, we believe it could easily stretch into the third.
This is supported by the 80W Ultra Charge. From around 10% to nearly full took us just under 40 minutes with this adapter and a quick 10-minute charge gave enough for several hours of casual use.
Realme also claims that the Titan Battery maintains over 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles, which means it’s built to last years, not months. If that claim holds up over time, it’s a win for battery health and long-term durability.
Verdict – Should You Buy Realme 15 Pro 5G?

The Realme 15 Pro is a premium-looking phone with a 4D Curve+ AMOLED display, smooth everyday/gaming performance powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The 50MP + 50MP rear camera setup along with a 50MP front camera delivers decent results. The star feature is the massive 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
For the price, the Realme 15 Pro makes it a good pick for anyone looking for a stylish and feature-rich mid-range device.
