Realme has globally launched the successor for Realme 9 4G in the form of the brand new Realme 10 4G. The brand has packed the latest smartphone ships with a 90Hz AMOLED display, Android 12 operating system, the latest MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, and a 50 MP primary camera among other features. Display

It appears the brand hasn’t even tried to make a change here. The display of both smartphones has no noticeable changes whatsoever. And those of you who are already having one would not feel the need for the other as far as display is concerned. The Realme 10 comes with a 6.4-inch full high-definition plus AMOLED display coupled with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It further provides a 360Hz touch sampling rate. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone also has a simple punch-hole cutout.

In comparison, the Realme 9 4G provides a same-size 6.4-inch full high-definition AMOLED display along same pixels resolution, same refresh rate and same touch sampling rate. The Realme 9 also has 409 PPI, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a punch-hole cutout.

Processor

The processor is where things get a little interesting. Realme 10 series now come with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. In contrast, the Realme 9 series boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU. Both smartphones are available in different storage and RAM variants for the customers to choose from as per their requirements.

Camera

This is one aspect where the predecessor Realme 9 takes the price easily away from the successor Realme 10. Realme 10 is equipped with a dual camera setup of a 50 MP main camera along with a 2 MP secondary lens. It also has a 16 MP snapper on the front. Comparatively, the Realme 9 4G has better specs to offer for the optics. It has a 108 MP primary Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5P lens, and also a 2 MP macro lens. Similar to Realme 10, Realme 9 also has a 16 MP front snapper.

Price

The starting price of Realme 10 starts at $229 (which is approx 18,700 in Indian Rupees). The smartphone is currently made available in the market in five storage and 2 colour variants. The pricing however varies only as per the storage options made available by the brand. The smartphone is currently available in two colour options i.e. Black and White.
