Qualcomm has introduced its first-ever Snapdragon Experience Zone in India, teaming up with one of the country’s top retail chains Croma. The first zone has been set up at Croma’s Juhu store in Mumbai, with plans to expand to more Croma locations across India.

At the launch, Infiniti Retail Ltd (Croma) CEO Shibashish Roy said, “I am excited about our partnership with Qualcomm as we bring-in the age of on-device AI capabilities to India. The in-store experience that we have built in our Juhu Store will help customers not only to see and feel the power of on-device AI, but also understand what AI can do for them.”

Highlighting how this would allow customers to experience on-device AI power, Qualcomm Technologies Senior Vice President and India President Savi Soin said, “We are excited to partner with Croma to launch the Snapdragon Experience Zone. This initiative allows customers to experience the transformative power of on-device AI, showcasing the cutting-edge capabilities of the Snapdragon ecosystem. Our goal is to make advanced AI technology accessible and tangible for everyone, starting here in Mumbai and soon across India.”

The Snapdragon Experience Zone is designed to showcase a range of devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms. Visitors can check out smartphones, PCs, wearables and hearables from Qualcomm’s partner brands.

To enhance the experience, the zone will have trained experts on hand to help customers explore on-device AI and understand how it improves everyday usage. Visitors will be able to interact with the latest devices and get guided demonstrations of AI-driven features.
