Primebook Launches PrimeAGNT AI to Execute Tasks Automatically on PrimeOS

Highlights

  • Primebook introduces PrimeAGNT, an AI built into PrimeOS that executes complete tasks automatically based on user instructions.
  • It can handle multi-step workflows like job applications, study plans, weekly reports, and app development, working seamlessly across apps and content.
  • PrimeAGNT learns user behaviour, ensures privacy and marks a shift to AI-native computing.

Primebook has introduced a new AI-powered capability called PrimeAGNT (Operator AI), designed to move beyond traditional AI assistance and enable laptops to execute complete tasks based on simple user instructions. The announcement marks a significant shift in how users interact with their devices, focusing on outcomes rather than step-by-step inputs.

PrimeAGNT – From Assistance to Execution

According to the company, PrimeAGNT is built directly into its proprietary PrimeOS and allows users to describe a task, after which the system handles the entire workflow automatically. This includes interpreting intent, coordinating across apps, and completing multi-step actions without manual intervention.

“Computing has largely been interaction-driven for decades. You click, type, and coordinate tasks yourself,” said Chitranshu Mahant, CEO of Primebook. “With PrimeAGNT, you simply state the outcome, and the system begins executing it.”

This approach represents what Primebook calls the “Operator Era of Computing,” where users define goals and the system takes care of execution.

What PrimeAGNT Can Do?

PrimeAGNT is designed to handle complex, multi-step workflows across various applications. For example, it can automatically apply for jobs by searching listings, customising applications, submitting them, and tracking responses.

It can also convert unstructured WhatsApp or class group chats into organised study plans by extracting key information and building schedules.

The AI can generate weekly work reports by collecting updates from meetings, tasks, and activities, and compiling them into structured summaries. It can even help developers by turning feature requests into working app functionalities by integrating APIs and setting them up end-to-end.

Deep Integration Across the System

Unlike standalone AI tools, PrimeAGNT is deeply integrated into PrimeOS at the framework and kernel level. This allows it to operate seamlessly across apps such as email, browsers, LinkedIn, calendars, and messaging platforms without requiring additional integrations or SDKs.

The system can also understand on-screen content and act accordingly. It can run tasks in a separate workspace in the background, allowing users to continue working simultaneously.

Aman Verma, COO of Primebook, highlighted the significance of this development, stating, “What we’ve built is not just another AI feature, but an execution layer within the OS that makes PrimeOS among the first Agentic AI OS in the world. It changes how the system understands intent and performs tasks, moving from assistance to execution.”

Learning and Privacy Focus

PrimeAGNT is designed to learn from user behaviour over time, improving its accuracy and efficiency in executing tasks. Primebook also emphasised that the system has been built with responsible AI practices in mind, ensuring that user data is not shared with third parties or used for commercial exploitation.

Availability and Rollout

The new AI capability will be rolled out in beta starting mid-April. During this phase, Primebook plans to gather user feedback and refine how the system interprets instructions and executes workflows.

PrimeAGNT will be available across the Primebook 2 lineup including Primebook 2 Neo, Primebook 2 Pro, and Primebook 2 Max.
