Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO is gearing up to introduce two new mid-range smartphones globally, the POCO X8 Pro and the POCO X8 Pro Max. Both devices were previously spotted on certification platforms and Geekbench, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, fresh leaks have revealed detailed renders of the smartphones in multiple colour options, along with a first look at a special edition model.
Shortly after the standard POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max renders leaked online, a themed variant has also emerged. The POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition has appeared in official-looking images just ahead of its anticipated debut.

For fans searching for details about the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man design, the special edition stands out with a bold aesthetic. It features a dark glass back panel accented with gold elements, an action-posed Iron Man graphic, and official Stark Industries branding.
According to the latest renders sourced from PassionateGeekz, the rear panel showcases a highly detailed custom design. A gold-and-black Iron Man figure is placed at the centre over a subtle, tech-inspired circular pattern, giving the device a premium mechanical look. The “Stark Industries” logo is positioned near the bottom, reinforcing its appeal as a collector’s item.
On the front, the display is shown with a custom Iron Man helmet wallpaper. The phone is expected to run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 with deep customisation including exclusive Marvel-themed icons, animations, and UI elements.
The POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, delivering strong gaming and multitasking capabilities. It features a 6.59-inch to 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution, HDR support, and a smooth refresh rate ranging from 120Hz to 144Hz.
Graphics are handled by a Mali-G720 class GPU. The device is expected to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast data speeds and seamless performance.
The special edition model combines its custom Stark Industries design with high-end specifications, including a massive 7,560mAh battery and the Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor.
As of now, global launch dates have not yet been officially confirmed.

Separately, renders of the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max were shared by X user @passionategkeez, revealing the devices in black, white and blue colour options.
Both smartphones feature a similar design language, highlighted by a pill-shaped camera module housing a dual-camera setup. A key difference lies in the flash configuration as the POCO X8 Pro Max includes a dual LED flash, whereas the standard POCO X8 Pro features a single LED unit.
From the front, both phones appear nearly identical, sporting slim and uniform bezels along with a centred punch-hole display.
Earlier leaks have outlined detailed specifications for the POCO X8 Pro Max. The device is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming.
Under the hood, it may be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset paired with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage.
The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP Light Hunter 600 sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, the phone could offer a 20MP OV20B front camera.
Additional rumoured features include dual stereo speakers, LHDC 5.0 audio support, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for durability. The device is also said to measure 8.15mm in thickness and weigh 219 grams.
The standard POCO X8 Pro is expected to come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness.
It may run on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, paired with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
In terms of photography, the phone could feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 20MP front-facing camera is also expected.
Battery capacity is tipped at 6,500mAh with support for 100W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging.
The POCO X8 Pro may also include IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, a metal frame, NFC support, an IR blaster, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are expected to include Wi-Fi 6. Both the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max are likely to launch with Android 16 and HyperOS 3 pre-installed.
