POCO is being reported to introduce two new models in the Indian market: the POCO X6 Neo and the POCO F6.
These handsets are likely to see the light of day in the first half of 2024, making valuable additions to POCO’s portfolio of products.
While the POCO X6 Neo is expected to cater to the mid-range segment with its competitive pricing, the pricing details of the POCO F6 remain under wraps.
The Redmi Note 13R Pro, which shares similarities with the expected X6 Neo, launched at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for its 12GB + 256GB variant.
This should give us some idea of the pricing in India.
According to a recent report from 91Mobiles, which cites information from tipster Yogesh Brar, the POCO X6 Neo is expected to debut in India by March 2024.
This could be the last X-series model from POCO , at least till July of 2024.
It is rumoured to be priced at around or below Rs 15,000, the X6 Neo aims to deliver exceptional value with high-end specifications.
The smartphone might pack in a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refreshing rate of 120Hz, ensuring smooth visuals.
Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, coupled with a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.
For those concerned with durability, the device is tipped to come with an IP54-rated build for dust and splash resistance, along with the convenience of a 3.5mm audio jack.
As for optics, the POCO X6 Neo, speculated to be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, might feature a 108MP primary camera along with a 2MP shooter at the back, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The device is expected to run on Android 13-based MIUI 14, providing a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Following the X6 Neo, the POCO F6 is tipped for a July 2024 release.
While details about the F6 are currently scarce, its sighting on the BIS certification site hints at an imminent unveiling.
As we move closer to the launch date, more information about the F6’s specifications and features is expected to surface.
